It’s 7:00 in the morning in the small community of Mariano Roque Alonso. Yeruti, 15, tugs her sweatshirt over her braids and grabs the notes she scribbled under the flickering kitchen light. Today is the Day of Women and Girls in Science, and she’s been asked to speak. She’s nervous. She still doesn't feel like the kind of girl who takes microphones.

But Glow, the girls’ leadership club at Superkids, changed something. She learned that leadership can be soft. That her story matters, even when her voice shakes.

Just a few months earlier, Yeruti had applied to her dream school in the Chaco. She wasn’t accepted. It hurt more than she let on. But instead of giving up, she kept showing up. She began organizing activities at Club Saturno, mentoring younger girls, and volunteering every chance she got.

So when it came time to speak, she didn’t freeze. She stepped up, took a breath, and said:

“Glow is a safe place.”

The room was quiet. Then, everyone clapped.

At Superkids Foundation, we create spaces where kids can grow—not by becoming someone new, but by being more of who they already are.

We don’t ask children to shout to be heard. We teach them their natural voice is strong enough.

We don’t tell them to change. We show them that who they are is more than enough.
