The Arc of Iowa is leading the fight for equality and inclusion, empowering people to live the lives they want, and inspiring a movement of advocates. As a grassroots nonprofit agency established in 1953, we have worked together for generations to build an accepting world with the supports necessary for our children, family or friends who have been affected by disabilities.

Our work is not done.

Congress is moving fast to cut Medicaid and SNAP. We need to move faster.

You feel it too …don’t you? The House has already passed $800 billion from Medicaid and $300 billion (with a B) from SNAP.
