Hi, I’m Josie!
On 14th June, I somehow (still not quite sure how) completed a 50km ultra marathon along the ridiculously hilly, stunning, slightly sadistic Pembrokeshire Coast Path from St Davids to Dale, with Pembrokeshire Coastal Races.
I wasn’t going to do a fundraising page because frankly, I wasn’t convinced I’d make it to the start line, let alone the finish. Between injuries, lack of confidence, and the realisation that 50km is... well, 50 actual kilometres, it felt like a long shot.
But…against all odds, legs, and logic, I did it!!!
So here I am – fundraising AFTER the race trying to raise some money in a very backwards way.
Who’s this all for?
This isn't just about sweaty achievements and pretending I love running. It’s about giving back to two absolutely brilliant places that mean the world to me and my family:
❤️ Camrose and Roch Playgroup ❤️
These superheroes have been the most incredible start for my son Josh. The team there are pure magic – loving, creative, and endlessly caring. It’s not just childcare, it’s a place full of heart. Funding is tough, so every penny makes a huge difference.

❤️ Roch Community School ❤️
And then there’s Roch School, where both Theo and Josh have been lucky enough to go. You will not find a more dedicated, passionate team of people giving everything for the children in our little village and surrounding areas. These small schools constantly battle to stay open – let’s help them out.

But wait – there’s more!
If I hit my fundraising target… I solemnly swear to book another ultra (despite vowing never again mid-race while having an existential crisis halfway up a cliff in Little Haven).
A Note from the Heart ❤️
Lots of people asked if I was running for the British Heart Foundation, especially after losing my dad. And I get it. But honestly, I know he’d be 100% behind this.
How You Can Help:
Please chuck in whatever you can – even just a few squids and share this with anyone who might want to support two incredible places doing incredible work.
Thanks for reading, supporting, cheering & donating.
I appreciate it all.
Josie x
