Over the past five years donations through Go Fund Me have been used for insurance, purchase of snow machines, acquisition of a manufactured plow/drag and for general operations, notably gas, oil, meeting space, equipment maintenance and website fees. Concurrently, TPBG has volunteered thousands of hours grooming, pruning,constructing and maintaining equipment and planning activities, including applications for funding.

Each year approximately 100 people donate to TPBG; many of whom have expressed the benefits; indeed the joy which groomed trails in Three Pond Barrens have provided, whether it's on bikes, skis, hiking boots, snowshoes or sneakers. For many, donations to GFM are considered akin to a membership fee.

On one occasion money was used for summer trail enhancement to facilitate winter grooming; this may be considered in the future. TPBG is contemplating next steps including alternatives for larger equipment storage.
