Support for the family of Corbin Sexton
Donation protected
I am fundraising to help support the family of Corbin Sexton, a student at Elmira High School, who took his own life in October of 2021. The funds will be used to help with expenses and allow Ariel and Tony time to grieve. Each of them has tried to return to work, but have been unable to return full time. The family is very grateful for all of the support and kind words from our community. So much so that I had to convince Ariel to let me start this GoFundMe. Many of you know Corbin's Mom, Ariel Smythe. She's a hard working, proud mama, who's been going through a loss none of us want to imagine. I am hopeful that these funds can ease the stress of everyday life and help with the cost of making his final arrangements.
The family would also like to spread awareness and help start conversations about suicide prevention and awareness. If you or someone you know needs help please contact the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline at 1-800-273-TALK (8255), the Lane County Child and Adolescent Crisis Line at [phone redacted], text the Crisis Text Line (text HELLO to 741741), or call 911.
