Help Me Replace Our Broken Boiler

Hi, my name’s Darren Robinson

and I’m reaching out with a heavy heart – something I never thought I’d have to do.

Our boiler has completely broken down, and with it, our home has gone cold. As a parent of young children, this has become an emergency. British Gas, who I’ve been faithfully paying for boiler cover, have now told me they won’t replace it – because it’s “too outdated.” They were happy to take the money every month, but now that we really need help, they’ve walked away.

This couldn’t have come at a worse time. I’ve been working hard to save for my driving lessons and a second-hand car so I can improve our lives and create more stability for my family. That dream is now on pause, as every penny has to go into trying to find a way to keep my children warm and safe.

I’m not someone who finds asking for help easy – but right now, I have no choice. Any donation, no matter how small, would go directly towards replacing the boiler and getting heating and hot water back in our home.
