My name is Tyra Griffin, and I have lived in Seattle all my life. I truly love my city, but it breaks my heart to see so many beautiful people in my community facing homelessness. Many people don't even treat them like humans, looking at them with repulsiveness, and they don't deserve that at all. I want to make them feel a little better by creating hygiene kits filled with self-care items for them.

The funds I raise will go towards purchasing items such as toothbrushes, toothpaste, floss, baby wipes, deodorant, lip balm, and drawstring bags to put all of the items in. These kits will be distributed to homeless individuals across Kent, Renton, and Seattle, helping them feel cared for and restoring a sense of dignity. I believe everyone deserves to be treated with kindness and respect, and these small gestures can make a big difference in someone's day.

I am a rising senior at Clark Atlanta University, studying Business Marketing. Growing up in Seattle, I have come to meet a variety of people from different cultures and backgrounds, and I love connecting with them. I am an empath, and when I see people in my community that I so strongly care about on the streets struggling, it breaks my heart. That's why I created this GoFundMe.
