Help Pakistan - Flood Relief Fundraiser

Pakistan has been hit with its most devastating floods in history. The situation is dire with 33 million people displaced and over 1500 people dead including children. Entire villages, schools, and roads have been swept away, and with them lives, livelihoods, generations of memories, and plans for the future.

A third of the country is under flood water - an area the size of the UK. Families need food, clean drinking water, shelter, and medical assistance. They need solidarity from all parts of the globe- not those of us in the diaspora but all of us who know this to be a wake-up call to the world on the threats of climate change.

As part of the diaspora abroad, we want to rally the community to come together to help raise funds for the massive effort that will be required to rebuild the country and help those needing medical assistance. This is our homeland and we need to come to together to help the people of Pakistan.

We are working to gather funds that will go to Friends of Indus Hospital which is doing incredible work on the ground providing quality healthcare services to underserved patients in Pakistan.
