Sam’s Eagle project to benefit St Nicholas School

Donation protected

As some of you may know, I have begun to work on my Eagle Scout Service Project. I have been a scout since I was in first grade, and earning my eagle rank has been an aspiration of mine for the entire journey. In hopes of effecting a lasting change though my project, I have partnered with St. Nicholas School to upgrade several aging benches. My project begins with removing ~100ft of deteriorated wooden boards and replacing them with Trex®, a synthetic material that will remain maintenance free for 20+ years.

I have reached one of the major hurdles in the project: fundraising. I am reaching out to you to help me in my endeavor. With a budget of $1600, I can purchase the synthetic wood replacement boards, new bolts and nuts to secure them, as well as the paint and tools required for the job. And so they won’t unionize, I’d like to feed my work crew. I am grateful to all of the scouts and adult leaders from Troops 321, 103, 222, and 176, who are volunteering the labor needed to complete this project.

So how can you help? You can be part of the project with your financial support! Every dollar helps, so any and every contribution you are willing and able to make is thoroughly appreciated, thank you. All excess funds raised will be donated directly to the school.
