I am a woman lost right now. My entire world has been turned upside down and I literally feel like I’m floating.

In the wake of an unimaginable tragedy, our family is facing the sudden loss of a loving husband, father, and grandfather. We are reaching out for support to help cover funeral expenses, travel costs, essential bills, mental health care, and the relocation of some family members.

On September 4th, our world was shattered by the sudden and tragic loss of my husband, Shandon Anselm. As a devoted father, he was the heart of our family, and his absence has left an unfillable void.

Just weeks before this devastating event, I joyfully sent our daughter off to college on August 8th. Now we are faced with the immense burden of funeral costs, travel expenses for family to gather, and the daunting task of managing everyday bills while navigating our grief.

In addition to the financial strain, I will be traveling to another country to handle the funeral arrangements, which will prevent me from working and add to the financial burden. I also recognize the critical importance of mental health care for myself and my children as we cope with this trauma.
