Lisa's Stroke Recovery Journey
Donation protected
As some of you know, on April 3rd, my sister, Lisa Odle, suffered a massive stroke caused by a ruptured brain aneurysm. She was rushed into emergency surgery and spent two harrowing weeks in the ICU. After stabilizing, she was transferred to the rehabilitation unit at a hospital nearby, where she spent another two weeks working tirelessly to regain basic functions.
Lisa is now continuing her recovery at a local inpatient neuro-rehab facility, where she participates in multiple therapies five days a week. Her progress is slow but steady, and while we are hopeful, the extent of her permanent deficits remains uncertain. Her future—including her ability to return to work—hangs in the balance.
Lisa is fighting every day to reclaim her independence. But recovery from a stroke of this magnitude is not only emotionally and physically exhausting—it’s financially overwhelming.
We’re raising funds to help cover Lisa’s ongoing expenses, adaptive equipment, and any long-term care she may need. Your support—no matter how big or small—will make a meaningful difference in Lisa’s journey back to health.
Please consider donating or sharing this campaign. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for standing with Lisa and our family during this incredibly difficult time.
With gratitude,
