Hi, my name is Colleen McCartan

This September, I’ll be starting a 9-month Catholic formation program with Holy Family Mission in County Waterford, Ireland. The year focuses on prayer, study, and mission, while living in community with other young people, being rewarded a Certificate in Catechesis from Franciscan University.

My big hope is to bring this back home — especially by starting a youth group in Omagh. There’s not much here for young people at the moment, and I’d love to help create a space for them to meet, pray, and grow in faith. Even when I start primary teaching (God willing) next year, I plan to run it on Sunday evenings.

To take part, I need to raise €4,500 to cover the cost of accommodation, food, and program expenses. Any support you can give — whether financial or through prayer — means so much to me.
