**8/12/2025 Update: Hi everyone! I wanted to share an exciting update about my mom! After being life flighted from Ft. Mohave to Henderson for her emergency surgery, the doctors were able to open up her esophagus and remove the blockage, so mom is now able to eat food & drink water again! The doctors did find undigested food in her stomach, which may open another can of worms, but for the time being she is safe & in good spirits.

My mom is unbelievably grateful for the support everyone has shown to her and my whole family is grateful for your generosity. With all of this good news, my mom will still be coming home to bills being due and court dates, but she will continue her resilience with the hope that things are truly getting better. **

*8/8/2025 Update: Firstly, thank you to all of you who have contributed - we have been able to successfully keep my mom's account from going negative, thus avoiding any additional fees from the bank.

Earlier this week, her catheter was filling with blood as doctors denied she had an infection. Finally, after 4 hospital visits, her providers realized she did, in fact, have a severe bladder infection requiring antibiotics to treat.

More importantly, as of today, my mom requires emergency surgery as her esophagus is being squeezed shut, not allowing any food or her necessary antibiotics & other medications to enter her stomach. In short - the situation has gone from bad to dire.

My brother will be driving her to the hospital in Phoenix this evening so that she can get this life saving surgery. They will need gas money and a hotel, Please continue to share this fundraiser, and if able, please donate to help save my mom . I’m reaching out on behalf of someone incredibly important to me: my mom. She’s one of the most resilient people I know, but right now, she’s going through an incredibly hard time and needs some help.

My mom is a disabled woman who has recently found the strength to leave an abusive relationship. That in itself has taken so much courage. On top of that, she just underwent major surgery on her bladder and stomach on July 28th, 2025. While she’s trying to physically heal, she’s also facing emotionally draining court dates tied to her past abuse.

She's doing everything she can to stay in her home and keep her independence, but the medical bills, legal stress, and cost of daily living are making it incredibly hard. She’s in a vulnerable place, between trying to recover, trying to stay safe, and trying not to lose everything.
