Hi, my name is Sabato Romano.

I’m 11 years old and live in Florida, USA. I’m raising money to help families in Jamaica who were hurt by the recent hurricane. My mom’s side of the family is Jamaican, and I’ve visited the island a few times. I love the people, the music, and especially the Jamaican beef patties — they’re my favorite!

I’m working with Global Empowerment Mission (GEM), a trusted nonprofit organization that helps communities around the world after disasters. They provide emergency supplies, rebuild homes and schools, and support families until they can get back on their feet.

All the funds raised here will go directly to Global Empowerment Mission (GEM) through GoFundMe’s PayPal Giving Fund system to help their relief work in Jamaica. GEM will use the donations to:

• Deliver food, water, and hygiene kits to families in need

• Provide temporary shelter and rebuilding materials

• Support long-term recovery efforts for affected communities
