St. Maarten was my home for over 18 years and I am heartbroken over all the devastation hurricane Irma has caused. I have many dear friends who live there . But the people who suffer the most right now are all the wonderful cleaning ladies and gardeners I have gotten to know during my years working there in villa property management.
I am in contact with one of them and she is the most honest and hard working person you will ever know. She and her family have personally suffered damages to their home too, but she still manages to help others that have lost everything including their homes and jobs. These people have children to take care off and are desperate. I want to help them and my contact person on the island is going to assist me with getting help to those who need it the most. So you can be assured that your donations will go directly to the ones in need.
