Hurricane Relief for Our Mom- Her home flooded

On August 3rd Hurricane Isaias made a direct hit in our small town Oak Island, NC, right before it made landfall it upgraded to a Cat 1, this also happened with a Full Moon which causes tides and storm surges to grow catastrophic waves.

Unfortunately, the entire front windows of her home were forcefully torn down by the waves leaving all of her belongings to the hands of the fierce ocean. We do not know where to begin in all of this, but have many people reaching out and wanted to give everyone a chance to help. We are clearing the home to see what is salvageable and have had amazing outpouring of community since this morning.  She did not have renters insurance due to location and the owners are not planning to rebuild. So, she has to start over.
