Hurricane Relief Aid For Pest Control Families

Many of our pest control family are in need right now. We are raising money for families of the pest control industry that have been impacted by the recent hurricanes and tornadoes on the east coast. Please review the information below and consider donating to help families who are picking their lives up from ashes.

Our Goal

Our goal is to provide significant enough funds to families so that their needs can be provided for a 1-2 week period. We want to take that weight off their shoulders so that their burden is a little bit lighter.

Transparency

I know a lot of people want to know how they can help and they want to contribute money but also do not want that money wasted. They want to know that contributed money is going directly to families rather than a massive organization where most money raised is lost to overhead.

With this fundraiser and with the blessing of the families this money is provided to, we will provide an accounting of how these fund are used and even provide stories and pictures of the families themselves if permitted.

Who We Are & Our Promise

Simply, Baton is a vendor to the Pest Control industry. We have 600 client companies that we care deeply about. Dozens of our clients reside in the effected states and we want to do something to help.

As Baton is heading this fundraiser up, we commit $1000 to the cause and do it on a basis where we will contribute $1 for every $4 donated externally. Even though that amount comes out to $5K, we truly believe that this fundraiser will go on to raise much more than that.

How We Will Deliver

The reality is that we (at Baton) do not live in the effected areas. So we have assembled, and are currently still assembling, a task force of people who are in or near the effected areas. Our task force will help with identifying families in need and finding the best ways to distribute funds to them. The purpose of the task force is also to instill accountability that all funds raised will reach those in need. So far those on the task force are:
