Dear Family & Friends,

My family and I are establishing a GoFundMe account to assist my sister Amanda Patterson and her family (husband Kyle, son Parker) trying to recover from the devastating Florida Hurricane they were forced to live through this week. They have lost their home, one of their cars, all of their belongings and so much more. We are extremely grateful they are alive and that  they found a way out of the physical area of destruction, however assuming a "normal " life is a long way off for them. Amanda, Kyle and our sweet boy, Parker ..have each end up in a hospital (20miles away) due to extreme physical and mental trauma.  (a normal, yet dangerous additional stress) they did not expect.  At this time they are planning to leave   Florida to find safety and shelter as responsibly as they can, - which means driving to Tennessee to attempt a new beginning.  

 We are able to assist them at a minimal financial level.and we are asking our friends and family to help us raise enough money to help them get the help they need to get back on their feet. They basically have to start all over, including finding work and appropriate care for their 5year old.  

We appreciate the prayers, the kind words and  the reaching out. We understand if you can't assist us, or if you have a similar family situation.  However, if you are able to donate whatever you can-  we will.be forever grateful.!!
