Help Jamaica Rebuild After the Category 5 Hurricane
My name is Sydney Monasingh, I was born in Lionel Town Jamaica. I was raised in PG County Maryland. I am known as Sydney Moon Beauty, I am a full time mother and full time entrepreneur. My mother, step father, sister, aunts, uncles, cousin were all affected by Hurricane Melissa. I’m raising funds to help my family and their surrounding communities in Jamaica who have been deeply affected by this recent Category 5 hurricane.
The storm caused unimaginable destruction across the island , homes without roofs, entire neighborhoods flooded, and families left without access to food, clean water, or power. Many of my loved ones’ homes were severely damaged, and others in nearby areas are struggling to find shelter and essentials.
Jamaica is strong and resilient, but this hurricane has left many with nothing to return to. I’m creating this fundraiser to help send food, water, and essential resources directly to those who need them most , families who are trying to rebuild their lives from the ground up.
Funds raised will go toward:
• Supplying non-perishable food, clean water, and hygiene essentials
• Rebuilding damaged homes and roofs
• Providing clothing, baby supplies, and basic household needs
• Offering emergency relief to families in immediate crisis
Even a small contribution can make a huge difference right now. Every dollar will help bring relief, hope, and restoration to the families and communities hit hardest.
If you can’t donate, please share this campaign so that more people can join in helping Jamaica recover.
From my heart , thank you for standing with us, for praying, and for showing love to a nation that has always given so much to the world.
This cause means everything to me. Jamaica is where my roots are, it’s where my family’s love, faith, and strength come from. Seeing them lose so much and still hold on to hope has moved me deeply. I just want to do my part to make sure they, and others across the island, know they’re not forgotten. Thank you for helping me bring comfort, relief, and light back home.
