Bonjour à toutes et tous,

 Mon nom est Abigail et je fais appel à votre générosité aujourd’hui pour soutenir mes grands parents en Jamaïque, durement touchée par l’ouragan Melissa. Leur maison a été gravement endommagée par les vents violents et les inondations. Les pertes sont immenses : partie du toit arraché, maison endommagée par la pluie, biens personnels détruits… mais heureusement, tout le monde est sain et sauf.

 Nous avons besoin d’aide pour rebâtir ce foyer et offrir à mes proches un endroit sécuritaire où vivre à nouveau. Chaque don, petit ou grand, contribuera à acheter des matériaux, engager des ouvriers locaux, et remettre sur pied ce lieu rempli de souvenirs et d’amour. Les fonds seront transférés via Western Union pour payer les matériaux et la main d’œuvre.

 Hello everyone,

 My name is Abigail and I’m reaching out today to ask for your support in helping my grand parents in Jamaica, who were severely impacted by Hurricane Melissa. Their home was devastated by powerful winds and flooding. The damage is heartbreaking: part of the roof was torn off, part of the house was flooded, which makes it unlivable and most of their belongings were destroyed. Thankfully, everyone is safe.

We are now trying to rebuild, step by step, and give them back a safe and loving place to live. Every donation, no matter the size, will help us buy materials, hire local workers, and restore the home that holds so many memories. It will be transferred via western Union to pay for materials and labor.
