Hurricane Ian Victims still need OUR HELP

Donation protected
Hi FK Peeps! Amy and Doug from FK YOUR DIET.
We have as a community done some amazing things to help as many people in South West Florida. We have done this by raising money in the restaurants and our customers' support. Amy and I have put in a fair amount of our own money to feed, clothe, house, furnish and a million other things to help foster families, Hurricane Ian Victims and anyone else that's crossed our paths. Besides the work and the money, we have used our personal vehicles and trucks to deliver and pick up everything you could imagine. Most of the time our vehicles aren't enough and we end up renting a truck or trailer every week. We have given away hundreds of thousands of FREE meals, hundreds of thousands of pounds of groceries, and too many truckloads of furniture, clothes, housewares, TVs, bikes and toys. We also have worked all year long with many of the local schools providing meals and supplies. Lastly, we bring in a mobile doctor twice a month that people can see for free.

We are in desperate need of a trailer or a truck, 3 door cooler for our beach operation and a walk-in cooler for storage. The way we have been doing it has reached its limits and to be able to continue we need these items.

We post our accomplishments almost every day, so you know what we're doing with the donations we receive. What we don't share is how we get things accomplished, most of the time it's a prayer and good luck. Unfortunately, the need this summer has exhausted our resources. We're helping lots of groups coming in from all over the country to volunteer with the clean up and repair of SWFL, also the Sheriff's Summer Program for at-risk youth on top everything else we're already doing.

We don't want anyone to get the wrong idea, we love what we're doing, it's truly awesome work. We just need these things to accomplish the tasks.

A 3 door cooler at the beach will give residents and others access to fresh veggies and meat. A walk-in cooler will give us extra storage so we can take in more donations and get the food to hungry families. Right now when I get a donation of food I have to pick-up and hand it all out in a couple of hours because we have nowhere to store it. We also have to turn down the food we could use to hand out because we don't have anywhere to store it for a few hours to get it to the people that need it.

We try and help as many people as we can get the things they need but without a trailer, we have to make sure we have enough to make renting one worth it and scheduling is always a nightmare and expensive.

We are asking for your help with purchasing these items!
We appreciate you and helping our struggling community to become STRONG again!
Love you all!
