HURRICANE HILARY BAHIA ASUNCION August 20, 2023

Hola my name is Ron Edgar and Mexico has always been a big part of my life for over 40 years and I live here year round . As most of you may or may not know certain small communities have received major damages from Hurricane Hilary. I have been able to spend a lot of time here in Bahia Asuncion BCS and have meet lots of amazing people. I have learned how import this small fishing community is, along with foreign visitors who sought a slower paced environment than what Cabo or Ensenada offers. There are over 30 plus families that are in desperate need of food who have lost part or all of there house. We still do not have water, limited cell service and parts of the community have no power. I am trying to raise as much money as possible to help out these 30 plus families. With a $100US donation that will feed a family of 4 and give them enough food for 10 days. Any amount of money will be greatly appreciated and Padre Tony from Iglesia Catolica Sra De Asuncion will be responsible of directly giving the food to each of these families that are in need of help ASAP. Hola, mi nombre es Ron Edgar y México siempre ha sido una gran parte de mi vida durante más de 40 años y vivo aquí todo el año. Como la mayoría de ustedes puede o no saber, ciertas comunidades pequeñas han sufrido daños importantes por el huracán Hilary. He podido pasar mucho tiempo aquí en Bahía Asunción BCS y he conocido a mucha gente increíble. He aprendido lo importante que es esta pequeña comunidad pesquera, junto con los visitantes extranjeros que buscaban un ambiente de ritmo más lento que el que ofrece Cabo o Ensenada. Hay más de 30 familias que necesitan alimentos desesperadamente y que han perdido parte o la totalidad de su casa. Todavía no tenemos agua, servicio celular limitado y partes de la comunidad no tienen energía. Estoy tratando de recaudar la mayor cantidad de dinero posible para ayudar a estas más de 30 familias. Con una donación de $100US que alimentará a una familia de 4 y les dará suficiente comida para 10 días. Cualquier cantidad de dinero será muy apreciada y el Padre Tony de la Iglesia Católica Sra De Asunción será responsable de entregar directamente el comida a cada una de estas familias que necesitan ayuda lo antes posible.
