Hurricane Assistance for Samaritan Health Clinic
Tax deductible
Samaritan Health and Wellness Center, Inc. is a non-profit family health clinic providing integrated primary care and mental health counseling for the working uninsured and underinsured in southwest Florida. This clinic provides healthcare by Dr. Sue Hook, at the cost of whatever amount is feasible for the patient. The professionals working at the clinic provide care for patients in a Christ-centered environment.
The clinic suffered crippling damage from Hurricane Ian. The roof was blown off and all of the building's contents were destroyed by flooding, including the medical rooms and equipment.
The clinic has been operating for eight years and has assisted over 10,000 patients who may not otherwise have been able to seek medical care. Dr. Sue Hook opened this non-profit facility with her only goal being to help local residents seek medical care regardless of their ability to pay. Dr. Hook is hopeful that she can set up tents and start helping patients as quickly as possible despite the setbacks they are suffering from the hurricane.
We ask that you please donate any amount to help get this clinic back up and running in order to help local residents receive medical and mental health counseling. Any amount will help make an impact. I am a friend of Dr. Sue Hook.
PayPal Giving Fund, a 501(c)(3) charity, will receive the donations and grant the funds to the facility via PayPal or via check.
