Hi, I’m Annalise.

I’m just an average high school student who wants to take a stand. For too long, I’ve sat behind my screen, watching avoidable suffering happen in our country—a country we call a democracy. Yet, Where is the unity? Where is the voice of the people?

We are in desperate need of compassion and action. That’s why I’m creating care bags for the homeless in mainly the DC area —people who are being forced out of their tents and living spaces by the National Guard and special forces from the order of Trump. I will also be going to shelters, immigrant support centers, and also heavily immigrated communities to help families and victims of ice's attacks. These bags will include snacks, food, hygiene products, blankets, flashlights, first aid kits, a resource map, and other things we deem as basic survival essentials that are often scarce for those in need.

This isn’t about politics—it’s about humanity. Many homeless people are veterans, men and women who served our country and are now being treated like they don’t matter. Anyone can fall into homelessness; none of us are immune. This issue is one of many I want to tackle, but I want to start here and make a change no matter how big or small it is.

I need your help to make this possible. Any contribution, big or small, will help. Beyond donations, I’m looking to build a community of like-minded people—any age—who are willing to help, spread the word, and stand up for what is right. Making up for the part the news and media is failing to do. Also food or blanket donations would be very much appreciated!
