Hi everyone! I'm a 17 year old student heading to Ghana, Africa in June 2017. Through the Humanitarian Experience For Youth program, I will be working to build a home and school for children with special needs who have been abandoned.  It is very difficult for these children to get shelter and an education because half of Ghana's population is in poverty and education is not free.
