Individually, we are three people with three different lives. But we are also three faces of PTSD. Together, we are the Human Hug Project .

Ian Michael  is a veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom. Gino Greganti is a veteran of Operation Enduring Freedom. Erin Greganti is a Marine Corps wife who experienced war and its aftermath at home. Together we know the anxiety and isolation faced by combat veterans who have returned home from war – because we face it in our own lives.

The Human Hug Project is using our own experience with isolation, anxiety and depression to help other veterans cope with theirs – all through the healing power of a simple hug. Our objective is a simple but expensive one: to travel across the country giving out hugs at VA hospitals. But WE NEED YOUR HELP to do this.

Human Hug Project has visited more than 37 VA facilities, paid for out of our pockets and with generous gifts like yours. To continue spreading awareness of PTSD to the remaining 118 VA hospitals we will need YOUR help. Your generous gift will support Human Hug Project take their hugs to every VA hospital. Donations go directly to travel, lodging, and food.
