Our names are Lauren, Sydney, Sabrina, and Madelyn, and we created Hugs for Healing, a community-driven service project dedicated to supporting children’s mental and emotional well-being through something simple, yet powerful: comfort. Every day, children enter hospitals, shelters, and crisis situations without anything familiar to hold onto. In those overwhelming moments, a new stuffed animal can provide more than just comfort, it offers a sense of safety, stability, and emotional reassurance when they need it most. It becomes something they can hold during fear, uncertainty, and change.

Our mission is to create a consistent and meaningful way for the Fort Worth community to make a direct, tangible impact in a child’s life. Through small acts of kindness, we believe we can bring warmth, security, and hope to children facing difficult circumstances. All proceeds from this GoFundMe will go directly toward purchasing new stuffed animals for Justin's Place, ensuring that every child they serve receives a comfort item of their own.
