My name is Hugh Graham and my plan is that together we can make a difference. In Ireland over 40,000 people every year get cancer. This is a staggering number and an even higher number of households are affected by cancer every year. The coronavirus pandemic has severely impacted the lives of people living with cancer and also their families and careers. On the 17th November 2020 I will run a half marathon for the Irish Cancer Society. On the 17th of November I turn 21 and this year I want to make it the start of creating a bigger and better impact on this world.  I have little to no experience with running and currently I have not surpassed the 10km mark. I am going to follow an 11 week training plan and I will be posting regular updates on my social media. This means a huge amount to me to prove to myself that I can push my limits and also the impact that can be made collectively. I am doing this for each person in Ireland that is going through the pain and hardship of cancer currently. I am calling on each person that is in the position to donate what they can and lets together make a difference to their lives and ensure they can continue to get the support that they are their families need.
