Hello,

I am Frank, a dedicated fitness professional and run lead for Black Trail Runners and run lead for Camino_Ultra, residing in London.

I've been presented with an incredible opportunity to embark on a challenging race from LA through the Mojave desert to the Las Vegas strip – an event without spectators, no rules, or a defined route, akin to a Gumball rally for runners.

My primary goals are twofold: to ensure the logistics of getting myself and my crew to the race and, more importantly, to raise funds for the charity AdFam. This organization supports families affected by addiction, addressing issues related to alcohol, drug misuse, and gambling. Having personally faced such challenges, I find this cause deeply meaningful.

Furthermore, I aim to promote inclusivity in outdoor spaces, emphasizing that adventure and the associated physical and mental benefits are accessible to individuals of any colour, age, or socioeconomic background.

While this endeavor is undoubtedly monumental, I approach it without the support of a large company or a substantial personal bank account. Your contribution, no matter the size, will be sincerely appreciated and channeled towards making a positive impact.

Being one of the 25 selected runners this year is a tremendous honour, especially considering that only 14 solo runners participated in the race last year.

I'm going to need all the help and support I can get from friends, family, and acquaintances to make this journey a success and contribute to the causes I hold dear.
