We have welcomed our sweet baby boy Hudson into the world on September 22, 2025. He has been diagnosed with a serious heart condition called Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome (HLHS). He will need specialized care and surgery, and we’ve been told to expect a lengthy stay—about two months—in the CVICU (Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit) at Ochsner in New Orleans, where we will remain for the extent of his treatment. He will also need multiple heart surgeries in the coming months, so we will have to stay in New Orleans during the recovery of those as well.

The outpouring of prayers and encouragement from friends, family, and even strangers has already provided more comfort and hope than I ever imagined. Your love has truly lifted us during this difficult time. Hudson has already hit milestones that they did not expect, but we will have tough days ahead post-surgery!

While we focus on giving our little one the best start possible, we are facing mounting expenses: travel to and from the hospital, temporary housing near his care team, meals, and the everyday bills that continue while we are away from work.

I am humbly asking for help so we can stay by our baby’s side throughout this critical journey without the added stress of financial strain. Any donation, big or small, will directly support housing, medical travel costs, and our basic living needs while we care for our son.
