Hartlepool United Disabled Supporters  runs 2 adapted static caravans to provide shortbreaks and holidays for disabled people and their families. It is non profit making and costs are kept low. Monies made on the rental of the caravans goes to their upkeek, ground rental etc
Sadly the Primrose Valley Caravan experienced severe water damage earlier this year due to a burst pipe. HUDSA along with Primrose Valley worked to provide alternate caravans for the families who had booked so that they wouldn't lose their much needed breaks. HUDSA decided not to pass on the extra cost to the families and unfortunately the insurance company wouldn't bear the full cost of this as well as the repairs. This has left the association with a short fall of money to pay next years ground rental etc
We would like help in raising the money to cover this in order that we can continue to provide affordable breaks for these vulnerable service users and their families.Without this help it is going to be difficult to keep the caravan running.
