Huckleberry Hiking Pack for Community

Hi there! My name is Autumn Kuenzi. I am an Eco Therapeutic Guide, with special interest in helping women, youth, and the queer community get outside safely and confidently. 

I host monthly Mom & Me Hike + Yoga events where my business partner and I lead families outside. 

With this, I am seeing a huge need for those who are differently abled to have extra support in experiencing the beauty of nature. 

I believe ALL bodies deserve to be outside comfortably and with support. 

My main motivation for this has been inspired by my dear friends daughter, Charlotte. Charlottes diagnosis is cerebral palsy, periventricular leukomalasia, seizures, and global developmental delays. This girl is SO full of life, curiosity, and love of the world around her. Our dream is to take her on hikes to experience the mist of a waterfall, the breeze at a peak, and all the other inspiring things that nature delivers. This chair will make this possible for her, her family, and so many others in this position.

The money I am raising will go towards purchasing a Huckleberry Hiking Cascade Cart. This is an amazing company that I have been following since their creation. They have worked so hard to bring this dream to life. That being said, it may not be tangible for all families to purchase. So many could benefit from this being in our community, and I plan to make that happen!

It is currently on sale, if I am able to purchase during this sale time, I will use any extra funds to purchase the head support and sun cover.

My goal is to host special events for families to test it, loan it to those who would benefit, and use it myself to help those who aren’t able to hike.
