I am now raising about $3k left to hopefully cover us until next Spring where he should've performed his test. crowdfunding to raise money in the pursuit of keeping both myself and my son safe. I currently do not have sufficient funds to keep retaining my current lawyer, and I have court coming up in the next month. I have been in a now 4 year long custody battle fighting to secure FULL FREEDOM for my son. In order to continue advocating for my child I need your help financially. Our story: My name is Miah Huber, I am 28 years old and currently reside in New Mexico with my five year old son. My story is complex at best, but God. I share this story humbly to help those donating to understand the gravity of the situation. Prior to this I was a christian missionary overseas along with my now ex husband. I married into a farce that resulted in both extreme psychological, mental, motional abuse, financial, and spiritual abuse. I uncovered confessions from him of pedophilia/ attraction towards children. I fled my ex husband in the year 2020 midst COVID. When I left, I left everything I owned. All of our bank accounts were in his name and I had no debit card in my name. I had begun to rebuild from the ground up as a single mother when I endured a brain clot stroke leaving me with severe impact. I temporarily lost vision in my left eye, temprarily paralyzed on my left side, and loss of some cognitive function. God healed me along with the amazing team of professionals who helped in physical, occupational, and speech therapy. Due to the stroke it was a big setback for me both professionally and financially as the last two years I slowly have rebuilt my stamina. Midst this I have been in family court continually pressing to keep full custody. After a two year fight we saw victory in the judge finally agreeing to order a psychosexual test. This test would help ensure safety as it tests sexual arousal and sexual deviancy. However, my ex-husband has continued to dodge the test resulting in continuous court proceedings. While I am weary, God is my strength here. And where it looks like a dead end, so I pray for a miracle here. I need a miracle. I ask that you consider donating to help me fight for the safety of my son.
