HUB Community Bike Shop-bikes for homeless

Want to join me in making a difference? I'm raising money to benefit the HUB Community Bike Shop and any donation will help make an impact. The HUB provides no cost bicycles to kids (under 12), homeless individuals and veterans in Dona Ana County and Las Cruces.
In the last 2 months we have given over 80 rebuilt bikes to homeless individuals. Yet the demand is steadily increasing.
We rely on donated bikes, some of which come to us in pretty tough shape. Currently we are needing help with purchasing the necessary materials (tires, tubes, chains, seats, pedals, cables, housing, grips, brakes, reflectors, locks, lights, and helmets to name a few) to continue this project. Our volunteer bike mechanic labor is free and they have logged 100s of hours into making bikes functional and safe. Now we need help with purchasing the necessary supplies to keep us operational. Bikes are the only transportation many of our clients have access to and that's good for the environment plus their health.
At the goal level of funding requested, we will be able to continue this generous philanthropic effort for another year!
