Homeless Care CLG (Charity # 20142285) are building a new housing and care facility at Jigginstown, Naas. (Bundle of sticks roundabout) Just 4km from Pfizer Newbridge.
Every year, hundreds of youths in State Care are forced to leave foster care accommodation upon turning 18 years of age. The transition for these very young, inexperienced, and high vulnerable people in our society occurs at a time of their lives when they are still without the "safety net" of state support.
The aim of Homeless Care and the facility at Jigginstown is to provide a comprehensive residential-based care, training, and education programme to facilitate the transition from state care to independent living for young homeless adults.
Homeless Care CLG are very close to their funding target but urgently need donations now to complete the facility.
It would be brilliant if the staff of Pfizer Newbridge could donate to this positive charity, especially as it's so close to the site.
