Our team has been selected to participate in the CHEVROLET GOOD DEEDS CUP to support HOCKEY HEROS, an organization that uses hockey to teach life-skills and empower marginalized youth.

 

Our St. James Canucks U13A1 hockey team has decided to put our hockey skills to work and help others become involved in the game of hockey. As a team we are participating in the Chevrolet Good Deeds Cup. The Chevrolet Good Deeds Cup seeks to inspire young Canadians to do good by transforming the positive values learned through hockey into Good Deeds within their communities. This year, the Chevrolet Good Deeds Cups has a new purpose – the rally together to make hockey more inclusive than ever.

 

Our team has decided to support Hockey HEROS, a charity whose mission is to use the game of ice hockey to teach life-skills and empower marginalized youth in our community. They provide free hockey programming for at risk children and youth, offering a safe and stable environment for them to grow, connect and succeed.

 

If you choose to support us, in return for your pledge to HEROS, our team will work together to do 1 shot for every 50₵ raised. By partnering pledges and shots we are working together to support a good cause within our community while improving our team’s hockey skills and teamwork.
