Hello my name is Chris Bobryk,
I need HELP to get my 4 year old son, Kyle BOBRYK, back.
From the day my baby was born (Miami, November 24, 2014), I spent five days a week with Kyle being a dad, providing him with clean diapers, teaching him his first words, playing on the beach and sharing tender loving moments with my awesome little boy, the love of my life.
On June 7th, 2018, Kyle was illegally taken to Hungary by his mother; she neither advised me of their travel nor ever informed me of their whereabouts.
As soon as they disappeared, I desperately looked everywhere for my son; it was a living hell. I hired lawyers in Miami and Hungary (suspecting her back in her native country) to guide me through the very painfully lengthy, complicated, and expensive legal labyrinth to get my son back.
After almost a year of hell, upon finally locating them in Budapest and successfully serving Kyle’s mother with a legal summons, I immediately traveled to see my little boy and initiate custody right proceedings in the Hungarian courts, jurisdiction needing to be established. While there for 5 weeks, I did get to spend a few rare (court imposed) treasured moments with him that his mother reluctantly complied with.
I was successful in the Hungarian court but now need to continue my legal battle in the US to establish my paternity rights before Hungarian authorities force Kyle’s mom back to the US. Having to kiss my son goodbye before returning to Miami was the most difficult and saddest day in my life.
Next Steps
December 30 & 31 - HEARING in Miami - to establish US as Kyle’s legal residence i.e. jurisdiction.
After this hearing, upon confirmation of my paternal rights and applicable US jurisdiction, Kyle and his mother will be forced to return to Miami by the Hungarian authorities and I will be able to fight for custody in US family court.
In Miami, I have already payed $20,000 - partially borrowed from friends and family.
If I do not pay $13,000 by October 21st my lawyers in Miami, will drop the case and I will lose the chance of fighting for my son.
In Hungary, I paid $8,000 and have an outstanding balance of $8,000.
I have cleaned out my savings and eliminated all expenses, to try to get my son, Kyle, back.
Estimated total legal fees could reach $200,000 due to the international dimension of the proceedings.
Asking for money is the last thing that I want to do but my son is my life and means more to me than anything. As all children, he needs and deserves his father in his life and I will do anything to make sure that happens, even if it means asking for your help.
Thanks you for taking the time to read Kyle and my story, for helping with what you can and for passing this to anyone you think may be in a position to help me.
