Help homeless Lockesburg man

Donation protected

I pray that I am going to find the right words to request this of my friends and family. Tonight at work I was dispatch to a cemetery in our community along with another Deputy, SouthWest E.M.S and the Lockesburg Fire Department. The dispatcher received a call from a man that advised them he was homeless and living in a tent in a cemetery. He told the dispatcher that he had walked from Texarkana to the Oak Grove Community after being told he could not stay in the homeless shelter anymore.

He told the dispatcher he was having severe pain in his legs and was not able to stand up. This was all due to dehydration. The cemetery was confined to a area of Oak Grove I was not familiar with, but with the help of a good man that lives in Oak Grove we located him.

He received treatment from the great staff at the DeQueen Emergency Room. He was released and the Salvation Army has put him in a Hotel for the next two nights. This man was very grateful for all the help, but I think he needs a helping hand from the community. He is part of the Lockesburg Community. He has not been as fortunate as others in life. I want everyone to know it was 23 degrees tonight, he was using pine needles to try and keep warm. He is planning on living like this the rest of the winter. I feel as if God wants our Community to help him. I know we can all pitch in and get him on his feet. He told me he wants help. I'm asking all of you that can to come together and help him. I would like to gather enough money to put him in a rent house and get basic utility's for the next three months. I want to find him a job in this area. I want him to know its not him against the world.

I know that anyway you can help he will be thankful for and the good Lord will bless you for it. If you would like to donate money to help him or know of a job opportunity for this man please message me. I promise any money that is donated will be for his benefit. Even if you can only give ten dollars every bit helps. I wish I could do it on my own but I cant. If you are interested in helping message me, I will be in contact with you this afternoon. Leave me your phone number in the message along with details of how you can help. Thank you for taking time to read this even if your not able to help.
