My amazing friend Marcia is one of the strongest people I know. She’s a single mother who has faced more challenges than most—yet she’s always met them with courage and determination. She lost her car due to it just being old and stopped working.

After being uprooted during Hurricane Katrina, Marcia rebuilt from the ground up. Despite the hardships, she’s continued to work tirelessly and support those around her.

In recent years, Marcia has also struggled with her mental health, but she continues to fight through every day with resilience. What she needs most right now is a reliable car—something that would give her the freedom to get to work, appointments, and spend more time doing what she loves: CRAFT FAIRS!

I first met Marcia when we worked together at a previous job, and from day one she made me feel welcomed and supported. Starting a new job can be intimidating, but Marcia went out of her way to help me learn the ropes and feel like part of the team. Even during stressful days, she always found a way to make people laugh and keep things moving forward.
