Howie’s volunteer trip to Ukraine

Hi folks.

All of you who know me know my feelings about the situation in Ukraine. 3 Years ago I volunteered with World Central Kitchen and fed refugees at the Polish- Ukrainian border. I am now planning on going back now, and actually go into Ukraine and work with a number of organizations to feed and help people affected by war. All of this is purely voluntary. As such I must pay for all parts of this journey. I’m asking for donations to cover my travel & housing expenses. It will be totally transparent. Any money left over will be donated to WCK. Anyone who knows me knows how deeply I feel about this. My father was born in Kyiv, my mother’s family came from Ukraine also. I know times are tough now for many of us. Whatever one can give is greatly appreciated. And to show our Ukrainian brothers and sisters that Americans are with them.
