Hi, my name is Jo Curry, and I'm raising money to help rebuild the House of Hope charity building in Tondo Manila. House of Hope is run by my brother Tom. They support the community in Happyland and Aroma, two of the most desperate slums in Manila. Everyday they provide meals for over 1000 children who live in desperate poverty. Many have suffered tragic losses of parents to drugs and violence. Last week a fire destroyed hundreds of homes in Tondo, including the House of Hope community centre.
