House Fire Relief for the Shreckengast Family
Donation protected
Early on the morning of June 23rd, a wonderful Brush Valley family lost everything they own in a house fire in Rebersburg. Sam and Jamey Shreckengast, along with their three children, Lucas, Piper's BEST friend (11), Aurora (9 years old THIS SUNDAY!), and Frankie ,7, all made it out okay, thank goodness. However some of their beloved pets did not. And the house and all of their belongings are a total loss.
Losing all of your personal belongings and treasured family mementos in a fire is a devastating situation for anyone. Especially with kids. By putting funds directly in the family's hands, we will all be helping them to replace what needs to be replaced for sure. But we will also be allowing them some breathing room as they try to come to terms with everything and be there for their kids as they do that. The emotional toll is heavy. Not having to worry about missing some work at a time like this truly means a lot.
This is a call for action. Whether you know these good folks or not, they are in urgent need. So let's chip in! No amount is too small! At times like this there are so many ways to help, but collecting direct funds in a single organized fashion for the family is a vital one. Our Go-Fund-Me is being set up with direct permission from The Schreckengast's. All contributions will go directly to them. Together we can all make a real difference.
Thank you so much. Please share this information anywhere and everywhere.
