Yesterday, our family experienced something no one ever expects—our home caught on fire. Thankfully, no one was home at the time, but the damage has been overwhelming. The fire started in my stepson Colson’s room and completely destroyed it. His bed, TV, PlayStation, clothes, and most of his belongings were either burned or melted. While the rest of the house didn’t catch fire, it’s now covered in heavy smoke and ash damage, making it unsafe and unlivable until we can properly clean and restore everything.

We’re currently trying to navigate what comes next while balancing work, school, and caring for our kids. Replacing essentials, repairing the home, and helping Colson feel some sense of normal again is more than we can handle on our own right now.
