Help Stephanie, Jimmy & Alexa Rebuild After Devastating House Fire due to Gang Violence in Haiti
Dear friends, family, and compassionate supporters,
I’m writing to ask for your help on behalf of my sister-in-law, Stephanie Larsen, her husband Jimmy, and their 12-year-old daughter Alexa, who are facing an unthinkable crisis in Haiti.
Their family home was recently destroyed by fire due to gangs, a heartbreaking event made even more traumatic by the growing threat of gang violence in their community. The fire tore through their home, leaving nothing behind — no clothes, no furniture, no family photos, no safe place to sleep. They escaped with their lives, but they have lost nearly everything else.
Haiti is currently experiencing extreme instability. Gang violence has overtaken many neighborhoods, making everyday life dangerous and uncertain. Stephanie and her family have not only lost their home — they’ve lost their sense of safety. They are now displaced and urgently need a secure place to live, away from the threat of violence and chaos.
We are asking for your help to raise funds that will go directly toward:
• Securing safe housing in a more stable area
• Replacing basic necessities like clothes, household items, and school supplies for Alexa
• Supporting the family’s recovery as they begin the difficult process of rebuilding their lives
Anyone who knows Stephanie knows that she is incredibly strong, loving, and devoted to her family. She has always given generously to others, and now, she and her family need us to show up for them.
Please consider donating whatever you can. No amount is too small. If you are unable to give, sharing this fundraiser with your network can make an incredible difference.
We are deeply grateful for your love, support, and prayers during this incredibly difficult time.
With love and thanks,
Madly and Sidney Ambroise
