Hospice Charity Rickshaw Run & Mountain Mission

Picture this: Two friends (Hayley Latham-Byrne & Kerry McAlinden) squashed into a tiny, glorified lawnmower, navigating treacherous paths through the majestic Himalayas. No maps, no back-up, just sheer determination and a dash of madness. This is the Rickshaw Run Himalaya —two weeks of unpredictable, heart-pounding adventure!

In India they call it a rickshaw, other countries it's known as a

tuk-tuk, for us, it's basically a rolling cake tin. We live in deep hope that we will make it unscathed from Leh to Jaisalmer.

We're tackling this wild ride to raise funds for two charities close to our hearts: Cornwall Hospice Care Limited and St. Peter's Hospice Bristol. Every donation, no matter the size, will help make a significant impact.

Cornwall Hospice Care Limited offers specialist palliative care to patients with life-threatening conditions, providing expert medical attention and emotional, practical, and spiritual support in a genuinely warm atmosphere.

Tagging on from this Hayley decided to pop on over to Nepal to take on snow blizzards and land slides for 2 weeks around the Everest region making it to Everest Base Camp & Kala Patthar. As if this wasn’t enough she then flew to Africa and tackled the world’s highest free-standing mountain and made the summit of 5,895m.
