Horst's Road to Recovery
0% complete
$18,701 raised of $50K
125 donations
My name is Marina and I am initiating this fundraiser on behalf of my husband Tim Brewer who was diagnosed with stage three colon cancer on February 3, 2017.
Many of you know Tim as Horse or Horst. He is a gentle giant with a big beautiful smile, always willing to help anyone, and eager to lend an ear. Horst works for a trucking company. He loves meditation, big trucks and mounting your favorite pictures in stone.

On March 1st Horst started a six week chemotherapy and radiation treatment. Eight weeks after the chemotherapy and radiation, he will be undergoing the first surgery, followed by another five month sequence of chemo. This will be followed by the 2nd surgery. He will not be able to work during this time.
As his wife, I will do everything I can for his well-being, but this will not be enough. That is why we have decided to request support from our family, friends and new friends. This is very difficult for us to do, but now we feel it is a necessary step.
All funds received from this account will be used to pay for costs associated with the treatment and subsistence of Horst as he goes through the steps, seeking to be cured of this type of cancer.
We are committed to doing whatever we can to show our sincere gratitude for any monetary support. If you wish to donate in person, please let us know.
We will keep you updated on his monthly progress.
