Horsham Family needs your help

This will be the hardest message I’ve ever had to write, but sometimes in life you really do just need to reach out and ask for help, despite the wishes of those concerned.

On Christmas Eve, my sister and her family had a devastating fire. Their double garage with a lifetime of tools, household items, fishing gear (their son’s absolute passion!), bikes etc burnt to the ground. The cause of the fire has been deemed as accidental and we still don’t know the cause, but fortunately after 3 fire engines at the scene nobody was physically hurt. But a lifetime of scars and loss.

Even more devastating, it is not covered by insurance. For those of you who know, this year has been the most difficult year for my sister and her family and this is an absolutely devastating time for them with tens of thousands of pounds lost, let alone the cost of the clearance and rebuild.

The kids are absolutely totally devastated snd traumatised, and whilst we will re-build as soon as financially possible…. I’m reaching out to near and far so we can at least try and raise some money to replace the kids possessions, and most importantly life long tools for Miguel who cannot work without this - perhaps even to help rebuild too.

I hope and pray we can pull together no matter how small to make their lives just a little bit easier right now.
