Jarem and I recently celebrated seven wonderful years of marriage this past August! We’ve started an exciting new chapter in our lives here in Arizona, where Jarem is attending dental school at Midwestern University.

As many of our friends and family know, Jarem bravely battled and overcame testicular cancer twice, many years ago. Because of this, we’re beginning our journey to start a family through IUI (intrauterine insemination) with the help of a sperm donor.

Each IUI cycle costs about $1,500, and it typically takes around three cycles to conceive — about $4,500 per pregnancy. Donor sperm costs around $2,100 per vial, with 2–3 vials needed per cycle, averaging $5,000–$6,000 in sperm costs per cycle. We also hope to use the same donor for all our future children, which means purchasing and storing multiple vials in advance.

Becoming parents has always been our greatest dream. We can’t wait to share our love and build the family we’ve always hoped for. With the financial challenges of dental school, we’re unable to cover these costs on our own and are asking for your support. Our goal is $30,000, which will help cover the costs of donor sperm, IUI procedures, and related medical and storage expenses along the way.
