My name is Aida Abu Shanab, and I am a mother to two precious daughters, Ghala and Hala. After 11 and a half years of struggle, I was finally blessed with Ghala. However, she has been battling a severe blood disorder that causes her platelets to break down. We had to remove her spleen, but unfortunately, the condition worsened, and she now requires a spinal cord transplant. The loss of her spleen has led to complications, including the appearance of lymph nodes in her abdomen and fluid buildup in her pelvis.
To make matters more heartbreaking, my younger daughter, Hala, also suffers from the same genetic disorder. We are in desperate need of help to afford their medical treatments.
As for myself, I am also fighting serious health issues. I suffer from severe esophageal reflux, a mass in my stomach and duodenum, and cervical fibrosis. I am unable to keep food down and often vomit blood, which has led to severe anemia. I require urgent treatment, blood transfusions, and surgery to remove the tumors.
Our lives have been devastated. Everything we once had was taken from us by the occupation. We have lost so much, but we are holding on to hope—with your help.
Please, I am pleading with you. Every dollar makes a difference. Your kindness can help me get the treatment I need to care for my daughters and give them a fighting chance. No amount is too small—your support means everything to us.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
