Hope of the Valley Tiny Homes
Donation protected
California is home to the most homeless people in the United States and the problem continues to skyrocket in Los Angeles. Hope of the Valley is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to reduce poverty and homelessness. Their most recent project is called Tiny Home Villages, which holds 64 sq. ft. sized houses with two beds, heat, air-conditioning, windows, a small desk, and a front door. Onsite, meals, showers, case management, housing navigation, mental health, job training and placement are provided. To sponsor a home it costs $3,000 which is too much for a high school student to raise on her own. Although this isn’t a lot, providing a place of transition to get one homeless person at a time off the streets is effective. Please join me in the journey to sponsor a home to beat the fight against homelessness!
